Just wanna know if someone has consumed LSD once that too in a very low dose and the time of consuming if he has a a very bad tragedic experience, does it affects in the future as well and how long it's effects are seen and if so then how to cure it's effects. I've heard about hppd that it's effects can be seen for long term and person can have the same feelings as he has experienced while taking it. So if someone is going through such bad experience even after 4 to 5 months of using it how he shall be cured.

LSD direct effects wanes off in few hours or days. But if it had induced underlying psychosis it can last even life time. Consult a psychiatrist and get proper evaluation and then treatment. Good luck
Hello dear,
Mental illnesses can be a result of multiple factors including biological, emotional, social and personal. In order to treat these illnesses, its important to identify the underlying cause and then treat accordingly using medicine and Psychotherapy. Usually it takes a week or two before the treatment results in improvement.
Hi.. HPPD or Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder. It's a non-psychotic condition that causes people to experience persistent visual hallucinations or perceptual distortions after taking drugs. It may last from short duration to longer duration in some people. Need further history to advise regarding the same.
HPPD is rare condition with incidence of only 4-4.5% after hallucinogen use. If you are experiencing Visual hallucinations or significant distress leading to impairment in day to day functioning because of it, then HPPD should be suspected. Even if such symptoms arise, certain medications can be given to help relieve the symptoms.
