You have to pay a great deal.of attention to the height of your pillow and how you lay on it. Also you need to be very careful while doing weights if the pain is getting worse, as you may be doing it the wrong way. You risk getting a further injury causing more problems.
If even after making changes you still have issues, then you need to see an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon as you will need assessment of both the Spine and the shoulder.
