Transplantation of the Pancreas
I am a Type 1 Diabetic and have many complications including hypoglycemic seizures and hypoglycemic episodes. I wanted to know what criteria i need to meet to get a pancreatic transplant before other complications occur. This includes kidney damage, arterial disease, blindness, and heart complications.

Any diabetic patient who are not manageable  efficiently by medicines and prone to develop life threatening complications   can undergo pancreatic transplant .Especially in your case you developed profound hypoglycemic episodes and Central nervous system complications like seizure . This may cause permanent damage to CNS. But pancreatic transplant are done only in few centres with limited success in India .
