Topical Steroid Withdrawal
I am a patient of mild atopic dermatitis, My dermatologist prescribed HH zole cream which I have used for 7 years on my face, when I suddenly stopped it, my symptoms have rebounded.
Please suggest, what is the cure for this??
My dermatologist has put me on Allegra and Pacroma cream for a month, but I dont think its showing much improvement.How much time does it take to heal from TSW.What natural methods can be adopted to stop severe itching on face.

Hi, atopic dermatitis affecting the face only in a 30 year old is uncommon. And then treating it with HHZOLE cream which is a high potency steroid cream is bound to leave you with side effects and a rebound when you stop using it. You can now try to calm your skin using milder steroid creams in a step wise down graded fashion under the consultation of a dermatologist who has good experience with atopic dermatitis. I would also want to reconfirm your diagnosis as I think you are misdiagnosed as atopic on face.
