Tooth pain
I am having toothache continuosly from 3 days.enzoflam,ketrol dt all effects for just three to four hrs.doctor prescribed me antibiotics clavam 625 and metrogyle 400 and painkiller as calpol t and told that its a case of rct failure and rct had to be done.can i take painkillers within 4 hrs if required. plz answer.

Hi. Usually when there is an acute infection in the tooth it shows like this - severe pain relieved by pain killers for the duration of their action only. Pain killers and antibiotics will make you comfortable in a couple of days, but it is likely the infection will flare up again. If you want faster relief and a permanent solution for the problem, get the root canal treatment started as advised.
