Hi, I got my lower right last wisdom tooth removed yesterday. 22 hours have passed. Can i brush my teeth with toothpaste and cold water. Also can i rinse with lukewarm water now? And thirdly i have been given ice pack. For how many times and days i have to use that. Also after 22 hours i can see whitish thing around the extraction site i have got stiches.Is it normal? and i feel constant feeling of pain.I need advice on this. Please suggest.

Hello sir .....you can brush your teeth in a normal way with very light pressure over the extraction area apply you can clean it with help of your finger.Do not use ice packs anymore.Dont scrape the whitish area it is a healing process only.Rinse with lukewarm water, pain will go off eventually.If pain is still there you can practo consult regarding the same via phone call.Regards.

Yes u can brush over the extraction area with light pressure, keep the more clean, rinse with luke warm water after each meal. Cold pack is given after extraction to minimise bleeding, if it's bleeding then u can apply cold pack.. It needs few days to recover to normal..
