Tooth pain after eating sweets filling
After getting a filling for a tooth, I have pain now after eating sweets. I got the filling a couple of days ago. 1. Did the dentist do a poor job? 2. Will it get better or do I need another filling?

Inresopnse to deep filling, some sensitive issues will b there if adequate base is placed. Wait for few days if the recovery is not there go fo ran x-ray and  check filling quality

Hi, The pain from sweets is a classic sign of a leaky filling. The sugar will percolate into the tooth between the filling and the tooth and cause sensitivity. Replacing the fillings should solve that. Till then pls cut down on your sugar intake. Sugars are highly acidic and frequent intake are a precursor to decay and/or fast progression of decay already present in tooth/teeth.
