Tooth alignment
My son is 12 years old. His tooth alignment is not perfect. He has not yet got few teeth which was fallen a year ago. Considering his age should we consult a Pediatric dentist or a general paediatrician?

Consult with a dentist
Online now
You can consult a general dentist or an orthodontist. You will require an OPG X-ray to check the teeth and your dentist will advise you accordingly

Dear Sir, taking into consideration the malalignment problem that your son is facing I would strongly recommend that you take him for a consult to an Orthodontist ideally. The Orthodontist will evaluate if the condition is only a Dental problem or combined with a Skeletal issue. But coming back to your question of making a choice between a Pedodontist/Paediatrician - given its a dental problem, a Pedodontist makes a much better pick.
Next Steps
Consult an ORTHODONTIST
Health Tips
Take an OPG of your son alongwith you for the consult.

Consult a Pediatric dentist, they are the best person to judge whether he has to undergo Orthodontic (braces) treatment or any other way of treating it.
