My 3y 10m old boy is complaining of toothache in his lower right cuspid since morning today... No hole/spot/patch visible on the tooth, but there is a gap between the teeth. Should I be worried?
He resists brushing tremendously..every session becomes power struggle, still I manage to brush twice daily. Please help...

If you put picture here then it will be more comfortable for me to tell you. Kindly dont apply any home remedies there. Dont apply Balm, vicks or iodex. Only apply ice pack (wrap ice in cloth) and put it there for external application at the area of tooth pain. Apply ice pack for 10 to 15 minutes each time for 3 to 4 times in a day Dont give him spicy and hot food. Give him/her only soft diet. And consult your dentist. There might be eruption pain.
A snap of that area will be even more helpful
Avoid hot compression/balm ointments application extraorally
Avoid sweet sticky very hot or cold intake.
Brush after every liquid or solid food intake.
Next Steps
warm salt water intake, only if it's relieving.
syrup P 125, 5ml each time, maximum 3 times/day, only when its painful.
