I am takeing ketrol dt from last 2 days two times a day but my tooth pain is not reduced my dentist is giving me some type of antibitetic as my tooth is infected so how many days it will take to cure my infected tooth so that i stop takeing ketro dt

The infected tooth should be treated by Root canal or whatever treatment is required if it’s a periodontal problem. Antibiotics will only suppress infection for sometime. Treatment is important

By using antibiotics, normally it takes 3-5 days for the infection to subside. In case of severe infection it even takes 7 days. The pain gets relieved only after the infection subsides, so you have to wait for minimum 5 days for the pain to subside. And this pain mechanism varies from patient to patient.
