This is due to folliculitis or inflammation of the hair follicles. Infection and inflammation spreads from one follicle to another. Pls take Capsule Doxycycline 100 mg once a day for 2 weeks. And shampoo sebowash twice a week for 2 weeks. Pls avoid all products that may be irritating the scalp. This can include Oil,conditioners, hair grooming and styling products. Hair dyes can also lead to irritation and then folliculitis which extends for a couple of weeks after dyeing the roots.
Next Steps
If it persists beyond 2 weeks, Get your scalp examined by a dermatologist for other causes of folliculitis. This can lead to sudden severe hair loss if left untreated.
Health Tips
Avoid hot oil massages. Wash hair frequently if it gets oily.
