Treatment of Tonsillitis is reduce the discomfort and inflammation . These includes
1. Pain and Fever reducing medication such as Paracetamol and NSAIDS .
2. Warm Salt water gargle, Lozenges etc .
3. Antibiotics for Bacterial infection .
4. Surgery is needed when there is at least 5 episodes of Tonsillitis per years .
