Tonsils and Throat Infection

Asked for Male, 36 Years

Hi, I was on Augmentin and Ibubrufen for throat infection and tonsils( no cough, no fever). I did 5 days course. There is a lot of improvement but I still feel some niggles in the throat. Public transport is shut so posting it here. What should I do??

that sensation will tide over. just continue gargling with warm saline 5 times a day. you can take throat lozenges if its too irritating

Five days might not be enough. But since you have stopped the antibiotics we’ll wait and see. You can use warm saline gargle. Lozenges will also help. Take some gastritis medicines if you have any reflux problem
