Tonsils and adenoids
My son suffering by throat pain.he was surgery of tonsils and adenoids. Surgery Dt 24th Aug 2016.
He had no pain on day time.but when he is sleeping throat will dry and he started to crying.
My problems...
1. How many days using ibrufen syrup for throat pain(am using since 5 days by doctor recommended )
2.generally how many days solve this throat dryness problem.
3. What to do for relief from throat dryness

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
Since the surgery was done recently, the surgical site wound would not have healed till now.
It will take some time for the wound to heal.
Once this heals, all the problems will go away on its own.
Just ask him to drink plenty of fluids.
Ibuprofen can be taken for pain for 2 more days.
Consult the ENT specialist in person for further evaluation and management.
