Doctor remove tonsils by surgery in tonsillitis or just swelling? If they remove tonsils how come one get tonsillitis again and how will body will be protected from infection in future ?

Tonsils are rudimentary organs whose functions end in childhood itself. Currently the whole tonsils are removed not the swelling. There is no risk of infection to body after removal in adult, on the contrary Children eat better and gain weight and height, become healthy after tonsil operation.
