Tonsillectomy is a surgical procedure to remove palatine tonsils in our oropharynx. If done properly without injuring surrounding structures it won't have any long term post operative problems including speech disorder. Speech language therapy is not required after routine tonsillectomy in general
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
