I have tonsil stones, deep in my tonsils, one of them is really swollen, they don't hurt, but it's annoying embarrassing and I want them to go. I suffer from a post nasal drip, i have polyps inside both my nostrils and when I was younger I use to suffer badly from tonsillitis. I've bought a syringe to try and flush them out, which hasn't seemed to work? Can you please help me.

When a stone is not coming out of the tonsils it's best to remove the tonsils. It will prevent recurring sore throat also. And pnd and polyps are because of chronic sinusitis which cud be related to allergy or recurring colds.. Its also a cause for recurring sore throat. Best to get a correct treatment done. I would personally suggest nasal and tonsillar surgery but in different sittings
Next Steps
Doctor will get a CT scan done and see the extent of the nose problem.. Then decide whether to operate the tonsils first or the polyps first
Health Tips
Operating the nose first would be preffered as it is the Saoirse of infection to the tonsils
