Sometimes after eating certain foods or during my tongue swells a bit and I get red bumps and ucler type sores on both sides of my tongue. I was wondering what it could be? I've asked my allergist and he doesn't believe its allergies. It only happens during eating or right after.

Some foodstuff may contain natural substances or chemical additives that irritate the tissues and may cause swelling of tongue and sores.Avoid foodstuff that cause this. You can use dologel or hexigel if it happens to provide symptomatic relief
