Tongue Bump lasts longer from 5 month
Hi, my mother facing issue with tongue bump. She is 52 yr old. Bump is lasts longer than 5 months but Not grows. Size of bump is same from beginning. She feels pain when she have anything spicy. I have attached pictures. Sometimes the bumps appears red. Please suggest

This looks like a form of transient lingual papillitis. Usually no treatment is required for the classic form as the condition may resolves within few hours to days. It’s a recurring condition and reoccurrence is common in such cases where it can be treated with: Salt water rinses normally or with pain medications.
