TMJ CBCT scan report. What does it say
I have constant pain in lower jaw under ear and neck for more than 10 months. No definite answer and relief yet. Dentist suspect tooth root fracture in #46 as it as hurting for tapping and biting pressure pain. Took CBCT scan for 46.no cavities or infection. But nothing found. Endo told to get root canal for tapping, biting pressure pain. Had root canal and crown. Still same symptoms on 46 along with jaw and neck pain. Went to tmj specialist and had cbct scan. My pain is constant and no relief. This is the report of tmj cbct. Not sure if I have any issues. OMFS said it's Myofascial pain syndrome but not sure about this tooth #46 pain for tapping & biting pressure. Went to dentist and he did nerve block on it. The area got numb. But the jaw pain under ear didn't go away. But tapping pain on it goes down after numbing injection. What does it indicate? My dentist didn't say anything and asked me to get a NTI guard to see if it helps. does my report shows any tmj or condyle issue?
