Inadequate sleep is not acceptable in children. At this age ur child needs 8-10 hrs of sleep at night everyday.
Try to follow sleep routine/hygiene. Make him go and wakeup from sleep at the same time everyday. No screentime for minimum 4 hrs before sleep.
Daily outdoor activity in afternoon. No playing/mobile/laptop at bed. Dim light in bedroom.
Causes of exhaustion are many. A child psychologist can tell u in details.
But before thinking in those line, plz try to follow sleep routine/hygiene for 1-3 months.
Even after that also if no improvement, visit a child psychologist/psychiatrist.
