Thorough history and Examination by an ENT specialist is needed along with a hearing test (Audiometry ).
.
Tinnitus can not be cured by medicine as of now but that doesn’t mean it can not be treated. There are other ways to treat it like sound therapy but first thing is to try to find out the cause if any and treat that.
Most important is most of the time tinnitus is not due to any serious cause.
If you are having suicidal thoughts I would suggest to consult someone, (online in view of COVID19) as knowing your emotional response will increase it and counselling by Doctor helps.
Ortho opinion for your neck issue .
Health Tips
Stress , caffeine, lack of sleep are triggering factors ..try to manage these.
Avoid loud noises like use of ear phone to listen music .
Some low volume soothing music , broad band noise, noice of fan etc can help you get sleep ( as it distracts you from focusing on the tinnitus , if your focus goes on the sound you may feel it more.
