Tinea corporis & curis
I have ring worms for around 3 months in both groin & underarms area & One in front of chest nipple (around). Firstly, I used clob-mg cream but it doesn't heal me. Then I consult doctor around 1 month ago & he prescribed Terbinafine 250mg tablets (I eat 1 in a day before sleep), Cetirizine (1 tab before sleep) for 1 month & Amfy gel (0.1% w/w). I take these medicines for around 1 month but I can't see any effect regarding itching & cleanness of skin but previously ringworms are surrounded by Pus but now its get dried & seems little red in colour(like red skin or patches) . So please advice me that what I do now or what I have to eat in my day to day process.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  What you are having is a fungal infevtion. With the medicines you need to maintain hood personal hygeine. Keep the area always dry. Wash your undergarments and dry them under the sun. Apply flucos dusting powder during the day and flucos gel during the night. Before applying, wash with mild soap and pat dry. Tab. Flucos once a day after food for 10 days. It should come down. Consult a dermatologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
