Thyrorid Function and Hypertension
Thyronorm stopped 45 days back as per physician suggestion due to very low TSH and high T4. Since last one week having severe tiredness and muscle pain. BP is 150-140/100. Taking Newtel Beta 25 twice daily for hypertension. TSH tested today and is 7.61 Do i need to approach back physician for restarting Thyroxine.

Should not have been stopped probably ...rather dose should have been tapered according to reports , will need to restart after comparing two reports

Would likely restart at a lower dose. Wrong medication for hypertension as this can cause tiredness sexual dysfunction so similar symptoms to hypothyroidism
