My mom has undergone follicular neoplasm thyroiditis surgery. now her voice lacks clarity and amplitilude. Should she give rest to her throat or try to speak. Is there a chance of cancer.....

What was the status of recurrent laryngeal nerve after surgery..ask your doctor that... biopsy report of the specimen will clear whether it was cancer or benign lesion... For voice clarity speech therapy is recommended...
