Thyroid hormone requirement during pregnancy increased and it is common to see hypothyroidism in pregnancy. After delivery usually levels will get back to normal. Since she was on thyroid hormone replacement medicines and stopped recently TSH levels have decreased. It may take atleast 45 days for TSH levels to settle down. So she needs to get TSH levels after a month and probably TSH levels will come back to normal
Next Steps
Consult nearby endocrinologist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
