Hi I would like to know what are the guidelines to treat TSH? Kaiser is saying they don't treat thyroid until it gets to 10...My Thyroid from 2009 6.76--4.39-- 7.10--5.82--13.13--15.78--23.43 -2014 5 year I was tested I have vitiligo. dysphagia, stiff person syndrome. Kaiser's attorney told me they don't treat it until gets to 10 I ask him then why are all my labs coming back abnormal he laugh and said all labs are not always right I am fighting kaiser myself

Subclinical hypothyroidism needs to be treated if patient is symptomatic or if Anti TPO antibodies are positive. With a history of vitiligo u r likely to be Anti TPO positive as well.
