Thyroid disorder with pregnancy
My wife thyroid was normal till January. There is no history of thyroid in her family. She is pregnant one month now. 6 weeks completed. 7th week started. We identified tsh level is showing greater than 100 and Thyroxine (t4) level is 3.4..we met endocrinologist and she gave 100mcg thyronorm. She is taking that tablets now. She is taken now for continuously for 4 days now. Now will this save pregnancy? On April 15th we have been asked to take viability scan. If we take tablets continuously, all will be fine right or still it is under risk?

yes you cn tk the tablets continuously.
However if TSH level was 100 to start with you should know that it cn be associated with delayed intellectual and motor development of the fetus..
Repeat TSH and see the levels..
Discuss with your gynaecologist in details regarding the same
