Thyroid cystic nodule
I have a benign goiter (proved by FNAC in 2015) in left lobe of thyroid gland. Right now it measures 3.6 cm by 2.4 cm (USG of thyroid gland done on Oct 10,2017). It has increased in size as compared to 1.8 cm by 2 cm (USG done in May,2015). What is the suggested solution for this? Do I need to undergo surgery or I can just do a follow-up periodically say 6 months once.

My first recommendation is repeat fnac as it has increased in size. If still benign then wait and watch is an option with periodical scans
