HSG helps identify the fact whether the tubes are open or not it has no negative impact on the uterus and the fallopian tube
yes it is a painful test
There may be no signs of a blocked tube except for the inability to conceive

If you're doctor has advised you to undergo HSG , he/she knows your history and findings well. You must undergo it.
It's basically done to look for any problem in the uterus or if the tubes or open or not .
It can cause some amount of discomfort
