Thyroid 3.94 in pregnancy
I have hypothyroid and 4 weeks pregnant. I got my TSH checked yesterday, it came out to be 3.94. My gynaecologist said that it is okay. But my question is should I increase my dose (50 mcg) presently to 62.5? What should I do to take care of my thyroid? Can we increase our dose in between to maintain thyroid levels?

Yes you need to increase your dose a little and get it checked after 6 weeks again for TSH value. Its better if tah is maintained below 2.5

TSH level should be below 2.5 in first trimester of pregnancy. You need to alter dose accordingly
