My husband 35 years old.. his thumb finger nail is turning white and rough from bottom. Could you please let us know what is the problem.

He could be having onychomycosis i.e fungal infection of the nail. However clinical photos will be required for confirmation of diagnosis and proper treatment accordingly can be given.
