I admitted to a hospital for K-Wire surgery in right hand. IV drip was attached in left hand. They overdosed me with anaesthesia at neck. I m still feeling ringing sensation in my years and sometimes light headache. It's been 10 days for the discharge from the hospital. The main concern is my veins at left hand got hardened after IV drip and there are some clots as well. I applied ice and also thembophob ointment as they guided, but the problem has not resolved. It's completely hospital's fault as I got this problem due to improper management of IV drip or due to other reasons. Is this serious and what treatment can fix it quickly and what tests may be recommended to me. Plz someone help me as I want to avoid the other complications like PE or DVT.

It usually takes time for the clots in the vein caused by IV cannula to resolve.Unlikely to cause PE or DVT. Please consult a Plastic Surgeon near you. Ice doesn’t help much after the initial few days. Better to use Hot water packs

Don't worry so much. It appears to be superficial thrombophlebitis - a common problem after i.v cannula use. It's not anyone's fault, rather it is a very common and non serious side effect of i.v cannula use. It usually resolves itself in few weeks.
Next Steps
physical consultation for complete evaluation and treatment and to relieve you of all ur doubts.
What you have on your left hand is a possible complications of long term IV cannulation. It is what we term as superficial thrombophelbitis ,it is due to localised inflammation at cannulation site. It usually takes 2-3 month for it to resolve. Meanwhile you can continue with thrombophob ointment and hot compress. It should be worried when their is localised warmth around swelling ,collection, discharge.
Next Steps
Ultrasound of local site to rule out any clots and collection
