Throat Problem
Have pain in throat since 3 days, have developed bumps at the back of my tongue which make swallowing uncomfortable. From today morning there has been pain in the lower left back side of my tongue. What could be the cause and treatment

Hi there I understand your concern...there are many causes to your symptoms which needs to be examined properly...you should moisten your throat by drinking plenty of water,eat soft foods like cooked cereal, mashed potatoes, soft fruits, yogurt and soft-cooked eggs...give adequate rest to your body..Avoid spicy foods or acidic foods.Gargle with warm salt water. gargling several times a day can help relieve throat pain....you will require antibiotics to clear up infection..consult nearest ent surgeon they will do the needful.
