Infection lasting for 2 months is highly unlikely. As you said she is having stress. It can aggravate GERD, gas problem. Continue Rabenix DSR and add Syp Sucrafil O 10 ml thrice daily. Avoid stress. Avoid spicy and oily foods Sleep 3 hours after having dinner

hi Does she have pain or the sensation of something stuck in throat? Any burning sensation in throat? Chest pain on and off?? Voice change? Painful swallowing? You should start with DIET MODIFICATION - NO CAFFEINE NO SPICY OR OILY FOOD THERE SHOULD BE A GAP OF 3 HOURS BETWEEN DINNER AND BEDTIME. If the patient is stressed she needs some relaxation techniques as stress aggravates the condition. She appears to have LARYNGOPHARYNGEAL REFLUX. but it is always advisable to consult an ENT and get a Videolaryngoscopy done just to rule out any other conditions.
Next Steps
Tab Rabifast XL 1 tab (30 min before breakfast) for 15 days Syp tricaine mps 7.5 ml three times a day (10 min before every meal) for 20 days Hexidine gargle twice a day for 7 days.
