It seems, based your complaint, that you seem to 'genetically'have thin hair. I am only suggesting this since I haven't seen your hair or scalp. In such cases, it is difficult to change the basic nature of your hair. But of course, in adulthood, factors like sleeping late eating junk food and not exercising do have a negative impact on hair... so if that is happening in your case you will need to start modifying your lifestyle. The hair cycle normally consists of growing, resting and falling hairs and there is a delicate balance between these stages of hair cycle. Normally hair should re-grow but if it is not happening, you should consider seeing a dermatologist. Next Steps
Start on biotin supplements and food rich in iron content. Use a milder shampoo and consider frequent shampooing and conditioning.
