Thigh Bone fracture
My grandmother who is 87yrs old met an accident in the bathroom and she fell hardly , fracturing her left leg thigh bone . Now we have taken an X-ray and after referring it, the local doctors are denying for any possible treatment in this old age. As of now, they have dressed her leg with a plaster with a rod support in it. Please suggest treatment

Does she have any medical conditions?
Some geriatric patients do go for surgery vatcsuch an age too
Depends on her activity level before fracture, her medical condition and her capacity to take the rehab post surgery
