There are two schedules for Tetanus vaccination. One of them has effectiveness for 5 years. The other one is for that particular episode.

If you could have followed all the shedule from childhood vaccination, you can take booster dose every 5 years after 15 years of your age.
But nobody follows the correct shedule including me.
So only we are advocating, when ever Injury happens,take TT.
