Tetanus vaccine protection
My doctor give tetanus vaccine on buttocks its effective or not I took tt dec24 2017 today small scratch by iron wire its protect or not

Hello
TT immunisation means it create antibodies by injecting tetanus toxoid(tt) inside human body.
When your immunised with tt body create's immunity by producing anybody.
Whenever you are infected by tetanus which are more frequent in soil ,rusted material this antibodies will fight with him.
So you are protected as you have already took tetanus immunisation.

Hello..
Well once you take tetanus you be sure of protection of 3 -5 years...You do not have to repeat it unless it's the routine immunisation...Hope you understand...Consult a physician for further doubts...Thank you
