Hi, I would like to know the tests to be done in first trimester of the pregnancy. Is it necessary to have an ultrasound in first trimester. Thanks

Yes it is compulsory to take ultrasound scan in first trimester of pregnancy to know the exact weeks of pregnancy and position of the pregnancy.With ultrasonography you can see the fetal heart sound also.
