Do the pregnancy test after you miss your period date.

Since your periods are irregular, my suggestion would be to wait for 1 week from today and take a urine pregnancy test next Saturday. If it is negative, also do a serum Beta HCG test to confirm. Even if the let out was not inside there is a small chance of getting pregnant.
Next Steps
wait for 1 week and then check pregnancy
Health Tips
Don't be stressed and dont take any hormonal pill now in a haste.

If your cycles run close to 29 days, today is right around when your next period is due, not necessarily a missed period yet. Withdrawal before release still carries some pregnancy risk, even though it is lower than unprotected sex.
Next Steps
Wait a day or two to see if your period starts. If it hasn't by 2 to 3 days late, take a home urine pregnancy test using your first morning urine for the most reliable result.
Health Tips
A test taken right on your expected date can still come back falsely negative, so please don't rely on one early result. Consult a gynaecologist if your period doesn't show up soon.
