For HIV testing you may walk into any diagnostic centre and ask for HIV rapid test. Thalassemia is not a communicable disease. It's a inherited blood disorder. Routine testing is not done. However in thalassemia patients, there will be decreased hemoglobin levels, which will be seen in your Complete hemogram. If you happen to have Anemia which is not responding to treatment with Iron supplements, kindly consult a physician near you for clinical examination and appropriate investigations and treatment.
