Temperature fluctuates
Hello, My 10 month old baby had viral fever of 103 last week.She took Azee 200 ,Calpol ,meftal ,then it came down.Yesterday I saw her temp was 98.5 in evening,while at night it was 97.3.and in early morning 95.3.Is it normal..or I should show pediatric..pediatric asked to do blood test for dengue before but didn't do as fever subsided in 3rd day so doctor told not to do test.please advice. Thanks

Such diurnal variations in temperature are normal.There is nothing to worry about.And since the fever responded to treatment, unwarranted tests are not required either.

Slight fluctuations in temperature are normal. Those can be ignored. If baby is otherwise active and well, there is no need for blood tests.

Hi, Temperature more than 99.4 deg F is fever. Temperature fluctuations are normal. Give frequent warm water to drink
