My 5.5 months old baby has 98.1°F temperature.Does she has fever?At what temp we shld consider as fever and give medicine?

If temp is beyond 99.5°F, it is considered as fever and you can give medicine once it crosses this temp. Confirm the dose of fever medicine with your doctor as it is as per weight, or msg child's weight to convey you dose.
