Telvas 20 lifelong for bp

I have been telvas 20 since 2 months..my bp is 110/80...do I need to take it lifelong..I had started taking it for reduced diastolic compliance...bp was always 120/90..130,/100 before..plz advise

Telmisartan is a antihypertensive drug and is started in your case for diastolic hypertension. Medication can modify and even be stopped if BP is consistently normal, you need to practise yoga meditation, no salt diet, breathing exercises, heavy physical activity. If this lifestyle modification is practised regularly we can even we draw the medication and you did not take it for life long duration
