Telma 40 mg stopped

Asked for Male, 42 Years

Hello Doctor, I was diagnosed with BP of 180/120 in one of the medical camps at office. There after took Telma 40 mg for 10 days. Stopped it once my ME reading started recording 120/80 and continued with 2 tab of Mukta vati for 5 days. Recorded reading of 120/80 for 5 days. Further reduced it to 1 tab ME for 5 days and now am taking 1 tab of Mukta vati in the morning. Readings are normal 120/80. Have cut down on salt, started taking lemon in Luke warm water, crushes garlic cloves and 5 -10 methi dana every morning empty stomach. Please advise.

It is nice that you are reducing the dosage with good observation. No need to worry about it even u can stop all the medication gradually but it is better to take mukta vati for little long duration and stop that also. But u need to continue your healthy lifestyle and food habits and observe even after stopping the medication.
