Teeth separators
Hi my dentist has put separators bands on my lower molars it has been two day & my next appointment with them is after 3 weeks so can i remove separators ? since it has been two days i am having them due to which i am not able to chew the food bcoz it pains while chewing. Is it fine if i pull out the separators since dentist told me its fine if separators comes out. Also while putting braces on upper teeths separators were kept only for one day. Please suggest.

Separators are not usually kept for three weeks and no you cannot remove them or else they will not solve the purpose they were placed for.

Separators are placed in order create a extra space between the teeth so as to ease the band placements. When the adequate space us created it pops out on its own.
Next Steps
Pulling out the separator might not be possoble pn ur part. Dnt try to pull it out as sometimes it cause lacerations of the gums. It wud be better to consult ur Surgeon b4 taking any steps.
