Today my mother abstract one teeth at 1.30 pm but still fell pain slightly .and. when cotton role put at abstract area blood seen on cotton is it normal ? After an extraction the cotton is placed initially. After you remove the cottn after 30 mins or so the bleeding would have stopped. You're not required to keep cotton over the area again. A little blood oozes from the extraction site for the first 24 hours- this is capillary bleeding. Coming to pain, after extraction pain remains for a few days, for that you can take the pain killer as prescribed. Antibiotic is not necessary in every case.
