Techniques for managing anxiety
I'm looking for some practical techniques that can help me calm down when I'm in constant worry and anxiety. I cannot control the urge to be in control of everything and it's very distressing for me that I cannot control what's going to happen. I feel very insecure in those moments and I don't know how to stop overthinking and stressing about what's going to happen. Is there any advice you can give me? I already know about mindfulness for example. I need some advice on how to deal with that kind of moment when I also have a lot of intrusive thoughts and cannot stop my mind from overthinking and drowning itself in anxiety.

There areore than one thing here that you need to look into. It's not only the anxiety and the distress that needs help. You also need to learn to be ok with the idea that something's will not be in your control. For this proper therapy should be sought. The root cause of your need to be in control has to be identified and resolved. Only then will you be completely calm and happy. For the moment, progressive muscular relaxation will help. Audio is easily available on internet. many apps are also available. But main thing is psychotherapy. Do consider that seriously.
Next Steps
Meet a psychotherapist / counsellor.

Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc are signs of anxiety. These can be debilitating. If the anxiety is overwhelming, consult a Psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve.
