Is Amitriptylin in low dose such as (10 MG ) safe for longer term use for insomnia given that it has Anti Cholinergic property ?

Insomnia is broad terminology. Proper evaluation is required before recommending any medication for long term use especially in elderly population. I hope you understand that there is difference between long term use (duration defined) vs life long use (to be taken till end of life)
